CALLOUTS:
Clarkson University completed two major additions within the last 10 years: the Cheel Campus Center and the New York Center for Advanced Materials Processing (CAMP). The Cheel Center houses a hockey arena, student activities offices, dining service, post office, and a convenience story. CAMP is a 180,000- square foot research facility, sponsored in part by the New York State Legislature and private corporations.
Clarkson’s CAMP is designated a Center for Advanced Technology (CAT) and is one of 13 centers funded within the State of New York. The center is designated by the State to conduct research in areas including:
- Line particle processing
- Electronic fabricating processing
- Micro-contamination control
- Polymer Processing
- Materials processing in space
