Located in north central New York State, about 70 miles north of Syracuse, Drum Country is bordered to the north by the St. Lawrence River and to the east by the Adirondack Mountains--beautiful scenery complemented by a full four seasons of weather that’s comfortable enough to enjoy. In fact, our comfort index ranks 55 out of 100—11 points greater than the US average. Despite our elevation, our average UV rating is only 3.1—much lower than the US average of 4.3.
